From Walt Disney Pictures and visionary director Tim Burton comes an epic 3D fantasy adventure ALICE IN WONDERLAND, a magical and imaginative twist on some of the most beloved stories of all time. JOHNNY DEPP stars as the Mad Hatter and MIA WASIKOWSKA as 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter. Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and end the Red Queen’s reign of terror. The all-star cast also includes ANNE HATHAWAY, HELENA BONHAM CARTER and CRISPIN GLOVER.
Capturing the wonder of Lewis Carroll’s beloved “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” (1865) and “Through the Looking-Glass” (1871) with stunning, avant-garde visuals and the most charismatic characters in literary history, ALICE IN WONDERLAND comes to the big screen in Disney Digital 3D™ on March 5, 2010.

Inspired by Tim Burton’s movie, Alice in Wonderland brings the player back in Wonderland ten years after Alice’s first adventure. During this time the world has changed a lot. The Red Queen has seized the power sowing desolation around her and tyrannizing her subjects. With the help of her dear old friends, Alice will have to fulfill her destiny by slaying the terrible Jabberwocky to save Underland from the Red Queen’s yoke and from destruction.
In the Wii and PC versions, the player will alternately play the White Rabbit, the Dormouse, the March Hare, the Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat to guide Alice through gorgeous and quirky levels true to the visual universe of Tim Burton’s movie. Each of this character has a special ability to defeat enemies and solve many puzzles until the final combat. The rabbit controls time, the dormouse is a real ninja fighter, the hare controls telekinesis, the hatter plays with perspective and the cat can make things and himself appear or disappear. The game can be played by one or two players in cooperation.
In the DS version, the player controls the White Rabbit, the Caterpillar, the Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat through uniquely looking sets. The game’s special and audacious visual art style is made of cell-shading and flat tints. It has been inspired by Tim Burton’s illustrations and previous pieces. Like in the Wii and PC versions, the player will have to escort Alice to face her destiny by defending her against enemies and by using her companions’ abilities: time for the rabbit, gravity for the caterpillar, perspective for the hatter and invisibility for the cat.
